Here are pictures from my first visit to the beach in Valencia. We went with Catia and Anabela, two very sweet and beautiful Portuguese girls who are also here as Erasmus. Katha met them one night randomly (great story here) and who knew that we lived so close to each other.
We started the day with a lovely brunch hosted at our place and then packed our lunches to spend the rest of the day at the beach. The Mediterranean sea is beautiful, and the water even better. It was refreshing knowing that I could take a swim in October! Can’t say I can do that in Atlanta. Besides, the closest beach is about 4 hours away, and it’s nothing compared to the Mediterranean.
We are literally within walking distance to the beach. Okay so that would be a long walk, but with a bike about 20 minutes or 10 minutes with the tranvia.
All I know is that with the way the weather has been lately, I know we’ll have more chances to soak up the sun!
¡Viva Valencia!
